We all have goals in our lives, but what is the difference between having a goal and having a dream? Well, to be honest, the biggest difference is that with our goals, we are more apt to take actions and to do things on a daily basis to make sure that they come true.
The more actions that you are willing to take on a daily basis, the more likely it is that you are going to bring into fruition exactly what it is that you want in your life. As Anthony Robbins puts it, a goal is a dream with a deadline.
DO YOUR DREAMS HAVE A DEADLINE?
Dreams are kind of a dime a dozen. Ask anyone and they will tell you that they have a dream of what they would like their life to be. Ask them if they have a deadline, and the answer will be much different. Most people do not assign a definite date as to when they would like to achieve whatever their dreams are.
You have to be able to get serious if you want to have more than just a wish or a want of how you would like things to turn out. You have to be ready to take actions on a daily basis as well as to be committed to assigning a definite date as to when you would like to make it all happen.
It does not guarantee that it will necessarily happen on that exact day, but it is much more definite than not having an objective at all.
